It will be different and special Many thanks for everyone who made the "Hanging of the Greens" successful. Our church beauty is enhanced and the setting for Christmas is beautiful. I will return this Sunday and I look forward to being with you in worship. Love, Your Pastor Don's Dabblings CARE did not meet last week but ministry resumes this week with our Crusaders and Ambassador Teams gather together. Our Reaching and Evangelist Teams will combine Tuesday, December 9th. As Christmas approaches, our emphasis on giving intensifies. I read about a layman who was one of those "hilarious" givers. His pastor tells this story about him. This layman owned and operated a restaurant in the city. On many occasion, he gave free meals to those unemployed or in financial distress. A visiting missionary had been this layman's guest and looked over his shoulder when he opened the cash register and noticed a six inch spike in the drawer with the cash and coins. The missionary asked why. The layman responded: "I keep it there to remind me of what I owe in return." It is true. We cannot out give God!
